Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Julián Scannone studies Economics in Universidad Carlos III of Madrid. He began his journey through Models of United Nations when he was 14 years old and he was part of the Logistics Team of the Model of his highschool. When he saw his friends debating interesting and important topics, he wanted to be part of the discussions as well, so in 2015 he delegated for the first time. Since then, he has participated in several MUNs, including HMUN, Harvard Model United Nations, which have allowed him to learn and grow a lot.
Verónica is a second-year student of Political Sciences at the Autonomous University of Madrid. She started being interested in the MUN world thanks to a subject that “forced” her to participate in a MUN. Thanks to that, she found her passion and wishes to be a diplomat in the future. Her experience in MUNs goes way back, starting at 14 years old in high-school, and coming back to chairing UN Women in COMPIMUN last year, also participating in other conferences as a delegate such as AUMUN and URJCmun, as well as chairing the ECOSOC committee in SANMUN. Apart from MUNs, she is a dedicated cook and cinephile, as well as passionate for a good book, and loves a good afternoon of binge watching any series. She is really looking forward to pushing all your buttons during the debate and making of URJCmun an unforgettable experience for you.
